Sport: only a couple of angles on today due to a not too great forecast. Having said that the weather has been pretty darn good with even a fair few fish moving in the margins. I think that Ben and the rest off the team here would agree with me that the reservoir is just about at the ideal height at the moment. The fish will continue to move up and down the margins and will fall for a well-presented fry pattern and indeed even those Diawl bachs still.
Ben informs me that he is bringing over some cracking fish tomorrow morning that should really stir things up.
Bell Point, Barnes Quarry, and Bens beach will all fish well over the next few days. Damsels, Montana’s and green peas should take the fish but like I said nymphing should not be over looked.
Temperatures remain pretty mild for the time of year and I have a feeling it’s going to be a good week.
