Sport: Sunday saw a stiff breeze making the fishing a little tricky but Stocks regular Mark Wilson had three fish from bell point on a small black booby. Out on the boats the top anglers both in the same boat were Peter Andrews and Andrew Bentley who had 19 fish to the boat Peter being top individual with 12 again the booby was the top pattern
Monday was a quiet day at stocks with just a couple of boats out with constant drizzle-putting anglers off
This morning saw more drizzle but this soon cleared to leave a good fishing day with warm overcast conditions and only a slight breeze, Our own Paul Bebb was on the water today with Neil Parkinson they managed 4 fish each with the Green Pea and Pauls own cruncher doing the damage. Paul commented on the fact that the fish wanted it almost static. Top honours though go to Simon Conway with 5 fish all falling to a green dabbler. From the bank Mark Chadwick had 4 cracking Rainbows all on the East Bank all falling to a P.T.N nymph. With more settled weather to come the fishing is sure to remain constant and exciting.
