There has however been some pleasure anglers among them from the bank regular Friday angler Anton Gysbers had his mandatory 2 fish in just a short couple of hours this morning. Gerry brewer also had 2 fish on Cormorants from bell point and lost a few more to boot. The Bulk of the catches have come from the boats with plenty of feeding fish in the Northern Shallows and Newclose Bay. Jose and Andy had 18 fish to their boat from the top end of the reservoir on nymphs. Also on the boats and with 10 fish to their boat was David Mee and Martin Stephens. They found Blobs and Boobies o pulled on a Di5 the best tactic. Today top rods though with a real cricket score of over 20 fish each was Steve Smalley and Graham Childs included in their bag was a stunning full finned 6lb rainbow, and just to top it off Steve caught a tagged fish which won him a Scierra Aquapak. Stev and Graham were washing lining black buzzers to take the majority og their fish, Top angling Guys.
