Sport: The boats had the best of the sport today with plenty of fish being caught from all over the reservoir Gary Martin continued with his success after winning the competition at Bank House he was in amongst the fish again with 7 fish mainly on the ever popular and successful green pea. Also on the boats Steve bland landed 10 fish including a stunning 9lber which was safely returned to fight another day. Another angler on 10 was Lee Cartmail who caught his fish on a variety of flies. Top rod though goes to Mark Tyndall who managed 12 fish on a short day, Mark also found the green pea highly successful. On the bank Peter Moore had 4 fish, also on 4 fish Karl Davies. Karl fish black and green nymphs on a floating line from Bell Point. Top rod on the bank went too Peter Atkinson who finished the day with 9 fish, Peter was also fishing Bell point but found a “bowler hat” fly to be his top pattern and fished it on an intermediate line with most of his fish coming on the drop. The weather tomorrow looks fishy indeed with 4-6mph SE winds and overcast all day ill certainly be wetting a line, will you? see you out there Pete
